Mauritania incumbent president wins elections, opposition alleges rigging

Mauritanian electoral authorities on Monday said incumbent President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani won re-election after the nation went to the polls over the weekend. However, Biram Dah Abeid, the second placed candidate, and other opposition leaders alleged electoral fraud. Reuters’ David Doyle has more.
