Nigerian analysts argue that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in Lagos must win the governorship seat that was previously occupied by President-elect Bola Tinubu in the upcoming March 18 elections.
Analysts also say the opposition Labor Party (LP) has made Tinubu’s former constituency a strong-hold after their leader Peter Obi secured the majority vote in the state during the February 25 elections but add that a loss for the ruling party will weaken the president-elect’s term in office.
