Germany, Nigeria Sign Deal to Repatriate Looted Sculptures

Germany and Nigeria signed an agreement on Friday in Berlin to allow the repatriation of centuries-old sculptures known as the Benin Bronzes, which were looted from Africa in the nineteenth century and shown in German museums and across the world.
