Famed Radio Telescope Sees Last Days

The U.S. National Science Foundation says that the iconic radio telescope at the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico will be decommissioned. For Science in a Minute, VOA’s, Rick Pantaleo reports that it has a 305-meter-deep dish receiver that’s suspended by cables over a jungle.
