Eritrean President on State Visit to China

Chinese President Xi Jinping held a welcome ceremony for Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Monday. Isaias was accompanied by Eritrea's ministers of foreign affairs, finance and national development, and trade and industry. Accompanied by Xi, Isaias reviewed the guard of honor of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and watched a march-past of the guard of honor. Isaias arrived in China Sunday for a state visit at the invitation of Xi.
