DRC President Felix Tshisekedi accuses former Pres. Kabila of funding M23 rebels

Reuters news agency has reported that officials from the party of Democratic Republic of Congo’s former President, Joseph Kabila, have been summoned to appear before a military prosecutor Monday. The move comes as M23 rebels advance through key areas of the eastern regions of the DRC. VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to Hubert Kabasu Babu Katulondi, former Governor of Kasai province in the Democratic Republic of Congo, about the recent political developments and the chaos that is being caused by the conflict in Kasai.
