COP27: Pledges and Climate Disaster Funds Assessment

As countries wrap up talks at the U.N. climate conference in Egypt several other key topics remain without answers. The loss and damage fund plan — funding to help developing countries least responsible for global emissions cope with impacts of climate change — remains to be established. Africa 54 host Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to VOA's Heather Murdock for an update from COP27.
