The observance of the holy month of Ramadan is entering its second week with Muslims around the world fasting from dawn to dusk. In Somalia, the month-long observance is also a time for socializing, charitable giving, and spiritual reflection. VOA reporter Mohamed Mahmud takes a closer look at how people in the capital Mogadishu are preparing and observing Ramadan.
