Analysis: African ports see rise in Chinese financial activity

According to a recent article published by the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Chinese state-owned firms now have active stakes in 78 ports across 32 African countries. VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to Paul Nantulya, a research associate at the Africa Center for Strategic and International Studies, about recent report as well as the strategies China is utilizing to expand its trade influence.
