The U.S. ambassador to South Sudan Thomas Husheck is urging the South Sudan government to immediately release civil society activist Peter Biar Ajak who was arrested last week. And some South Sudanese detained and later freed by security agents have formed the Organization for Former Political Detainees and Prisoners to fight for the rights of detained South Sudanese.
