Zambia Revokes Benefits of Former President Lungu
Zambia’s minister of information Cornelius Mweetwa says the government of President Hakainde Hichilema is not threatened by the return to active politics of former President Edgar Lungu. Yesterday, the government revoked the retirement benefits and privileges that had been granted to the former president. Mweetwa tells VOA’s James Butty, the revocation was done in accordance with Zambian law.
