CFK Africa, a locally led youth leadership and public health nonprofit focused on fighting extreme poverty in African informal settlements, announced seven new members of its global Advisory Council. The council’s new members — who include a former member of the U.S. Congress, the co-founder of the Malala Fund and others — will provide expertise towards the organization’s new programming. For more, VOA’s Douglas Mpuga spoke to CFK Africa’s new executive director, Jeffrey Okoro.
