Victims of FGM Speak Out Against Practice; Equatorial Guinea Records First Marburg Virus
The controversial practice of Female Genital Mutilation or FGM continues in many parts of the world, including in Africa where an estimated three million girls are subjected to it annually. Judy Gitau of Equality Now in Kenya sheds light on this practice, while Assita Troure of Burkina Faso shares her story about it. Meantime, Equatorial Guinea is dealing with its first outbreak of the deadly Marbug virus which has claimed several lives.
