UK Issues Terror Alert For Uganda

In Uganda, four-time presidential candidate and current leader of the People’s Front for Transition, Dr. Kizza Besigye, says while he does not know what specific intelligence that led the British government to issue a terror alert for Uganda, he’s not surprised by the decision. According to Sunday’s Uganda Monitor, the alert predicts that attacks could be indiscriminate or against foreign nationals or places frequented by foreign nationals. Dr. Besigye tells VOA’s James Butty, he’s not surprised by the warning because Uganda has had a considerable number of terror attacks in recent years.
