The South African Government Accused of Selling out Working Class
The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA) is accusing President Cyril Ramaphosa’s government of selling out the working class with the government’s “Just Energy Investment Plan.” Revealed at the COP27 conference in Egypt, the plan envisages de-carbonizing South Africa’s economy to reduce emissions that contribute to climate change.
