SSudanese Female Logisticians Challenged in Male-Dominated Field

A group calling itself Network of Women in the Field of Logistics in South Sudan marked their one-year anniversary on Friday to coincide with the end of Women's History Month. Kristina Ortiz, office director of humanitarian assistance at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in South Sudan, says the country’s infrastructure is underdeveloped, making it difficult to transport goods and relief items around the country.
