The head of the Anglican Church in South Sudan, Archbishop Justin Badi Arama, is urging the signatories of the country's revitalized peace agreement to fulfill the benchmarks outlined in the country’s roadmap, especially as South Sudan prepares for elections in December 2024. Arama expressed hope that 2024 will bring positive change to the country as South Sudanese celebrate Christmas and usher in the new year. VOA’s John Tanza sat down with the archbishop at his residence in Juba to discuss some of the challenges facing South Sudanese during the Christmas festivities.
