Rescuers Race to Find Morocco Quake Survivors
The government of Morocco said Sunday that at least 2,122 people were killed and more than 2,421 injured, many critically from Friday’s 6.8-magnitude earthquake. This, as the country rescuers try to save those trapped under the rubble. Emmanuel Victoire Ngapela, freelance journalist, tells VOA’s James Butty from the village of Moulay Ibrahim, about 31 miles from Marrakech City, that what the people need the most are tents.
