In Ghana, victims of sexual assault must undergo medical examinations to prove they have been assaulted before a suspect can be prosecuted. The exams are expensive and are not covered by the national health insurance. One lawmaker has ended the practice in his district and is seeking to abolish the health exam requirement so that more women are able to pursue justice. Senanu Tord reports from Battor, Ghana.
