The International Criminal Court has begun a hearing to confirm charges against Sudanese para-military commander Ali Muhammad Ali Abd-al-Rahman, also known as Ali Kushayb; a civilian member of Sudan’s Sovereign Council has resigned citing interference from the military; doctors in South Sudan are threatening to go on strike following the killing of of an aid worker.
