ECOWAS Activates Standby Force for Possible Intervention in Niger
The Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, Thursday ordered the activation of its standby force for possible intervention in Niger, amid reports of threats by the country's junta to kill deposed President Mohamed Bazoum after military intervention.
