Zambia's Information Minister Denies Accusations That Democracy is Under Threat
Zambia's Information Minister and chief government spokesperson has refuted allegations by a civil society organization that democracy is under threat. Cornelius Mweetwa says the government is committed to ensuring and protecting free speech and media freedom in the southern African country. Mweetwa tells VOA's Peter Clottey that the government is committed to the respect for the rule of law and good governance.
