Zambia Police Warns Former President Lungu Against ‘Jogging’

The acting president of Zambia’s main opposition Patriotic Front (PFP) party says President Hakainde Hichilema is paranoid about the public appearances of former President Edgar Lungu. This, after police warned the former president against jogging in public. Lungu usually jogs on Saturdays and is joined by the public. But the police say he should first seek permission because his jogging disrupts the daily lives of citizens. The Zambian police declined a VOA request for an interview but sent us a statement.
