According to the U.N. aid agency OCHA, some of the 6.6 million people were affected by West and Central Africa’s monsoon in recent weeks. Members of the Ivory Coast’s FESC, the suspended school and student federation, have been arrested in a murder investigation after two people, including its leader's main rival, were found dead.
