Uganda's Ruling Party Defends New Parliament Speaker

Uganda’s first female speaker, Rebecca Kadaga, who held the position in parliament for 10 years, was defeated Monday by Jacob Oulanyah. For Daybreak Africa, VOA's James Butty spoke to ruling party spokesman Rogers Mulindwa who pushed back against claims the party doesn't support women in politics.
