Officials from South Sudan’s ministries of education and health say menstrual hygiene continues to hinder some South Sudanese girls from completing school. The director for gender, equality and inclusion in South Sudan's Ministry of General Education and Instruction is calling on the government, aid agencies and communities in South Sudan to provide facilities where girls can feel safe at school during their monthly cycles.
