South Sudanese Refugee Families Impacted by Sudan Fire [3:54]
More than 400 South Sudanese refugee families have been affected by a fire that broke out in Al Takamul refugee settlement east of Khartoum in Sudan. The cause of the fire remains unclear. The U.N. refugee agency (UNHCR)says it's working with other partners to provide shelter, food and non-food items to 2000 South Sudanese refugees. Assadullah Nasrullah, UNHCR communications officer in Khartoum, tells VOA's Nabeel Biajo that funding is in short supply as his agency tries to respond to the needs of millions of refugees and internally displaced persons throughout Sudan.
