Global markets respond positively to Trump postponement of tariffs on Canada, Mexico
Global markets have recovered some lost ground after U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday said he would be postponing a 25% tariff on Mexican goods and later announced a similar pause with Canada. The market recovery came after Trump last weekend said his government would be placing tariffs on goods from Canada, China and Mexico. VOA’s White House Correspondent Anita Powell has more.
